Components to make one pair of Multi-pose Bionic Legs - Small size. Scaled correctly for my Regiments range and similar 28mm heroic scale human infantry.
Important Advisory Note - This product consists of 15 small components, and is designed for gamers who are familiar with resin kits and have a reasonable amount of modelling experience - please read the 'Assembly Notes' below.
This product is a 15 piece kit containing Hips, Thighs, knee plates, 2x different calves, 2x different feet.
You can make one complete pair of bionic legs, or use the components separately to easily add a single bionic leg to an existing miniature, or even just a bionic lower leg or foot!
These parts allow for virtually unlimited custom posing and design of your bionics to get the exact miniature you want!
Assembly Notes -
The Thigh pieces slot into the sockets on the hip piece, however the cabling runs all the way round, this is so that no matter what the position of the legs, there is still cabling to run into the hip unit.
To attach each thigh, you will need to choose a position, and then chop away the cabling at the right angle so that it fits correctly into the socket. Its easiest if you trim away a little bit and then 'dry fit' the part, repeating this process until the part fits nicely.
Easy option - Cut away ALL the cable from on top of the Thigh piece. If you don't mind how it looks, this is much easier.
Assembling the rest of the leg is more straight forward, but I recommend you use blu-tac at every stage to check the pose is correct, before the super glue makes it permanent.
This product is not a toy, it is supplied unpainted, and will require some minor preparation and gluing with superglue. For further guidance, the Anvil Industry guide 'Working with Resin' can be found at the bottom of the page.
