A very high-quality miniature that's easy to assemble. The left arm keys into place perfectly and there's a slight indent in the gorget for the front of the helmet to key into. The right wrist joint allows for quite a range of positions for the sword and the neck joint is common to the rest of Anvil's range of heads and helmets, allowing for a surprising amount of variation for a character miniature. I believe the right hand could also be easily swapped for any other of Anvil's available products if a different weapon is wanted.
I would recommend painting the head separately, as the gorget and fur mantle create a visible gap that would be difficult to spray prime or brush paint with the head in place. This is a good miniature for practising edge highlighting, as many of the armour panels have raised edges that can be easily painted, but it can also be painted quickly using shading and/or drybrushing with excellent results. The contours of the cloak are much smoother than miniatures of other suppliers, and would favour gradual shading over sharp edge highlighting.
